Adam Clammer is a Founding Partner and Managing Member of True Wind, where he serves on the Investment Committee and is responsible for all aspects of managing the firm. Prior to founding True Wind, Adam was with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., which he joined in 1995. At KKR, Adam founded and led the Global Technology Group from 2004 to 2013. Adam was also a senior member of the Healthcare Group and participated in investments across multiple industries. Adam served on the board of directors of AEP, Aricent, Avago (Broadcom), GoDaddy, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Kodak, MedCath, NXP Semiconductors and several private companies. Adam currently serves as Chairman of the Board of LeadVenture (formerly ARI Network Services). He is also a Director of The SWITCH, Transflo and Open Lending Corporation (NASDAQ: LPRO). Prior to joining KKR, Adam worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Morgan Stanley in New York and Hong Kong. Adam is also a Trustee of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Adam holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
William Heldfond, is a Vice President at True Wind Capital, a private equity fund manager focused on technology industry. Mr. Heldfond joined True Wind Capital in 2018. From 2013 to 2016 Mr. Heldfond was an Associate at Accel-KKR, where he helped lead growth equity investments and leveraged buyout transactions within the technology, media and telecommunications sectors across both North America and Western Europe. Prior to joining Accel-KKR, Mr. Heldfond was with Vista Point Advisors, a middle-market investment bank focused on mergers and acquisitions, and private placement advisory within the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. From 2013 to 2017, Mr. Heldfond served as Vice Chairman for the Vanguard Chapter of the Aspen Institute. Mr. Heldfond holds a B.A. in International Relations with an emphasis in Economics from the University of Southern California, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
